Call by Value and Call by Reference
Reading Material & Notes
Call by Value and Call by Reference
Arguments can be passed to functions using different techniques.
Call by Value
A copy of the value is passed to the function. Changes do not affect the original variable.
void change(int x)
{
x = 100;
}
Call by Reference in C++
void change(int &x)
{
x = 100;
}
References allow a function to modify the original variable.
